The CAPiDi VAB thermometer is an infrared forehead thermometer. It determines body temperature in just one second. The end of the measurement is indicated by an acoustic signal. The body temperature is measured on the forehead. Up to nine measured values can be stored in the memory. If the device is turned off, press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 3 seconds to display the last measured value. Each time you press the button, you can retrieve additional measured values in chronological order. The oldest measured value is stored in memory slot 1.

Forehead measurement:
Place the measuring probe 2 cm in front of the forehead between the eyebrows. Now press the ON/OFF button and read the temperature from the LCD display.

If the “Battery exhausted” symbol appears in the display window, replace the battery. The user manual contains specific information on how to open the battery compartment and replace the battery. You can buy CR 2032 type batteries in watch or electronics stores. Read the user manual carefully to avoid measurement errors.
